As a Rosen student of hospitality management I make certain that I exude professionalism, service, and Leadership. The way in which I execute these three pillars on a consistent basis is by motivating my team members through my actions and assuring them of my loyalty. I also strive to go above and beyond in terms of servicing others.I am always trying my best to meet or exceed others expectations and searching for the opportunities to help other and take on the tasks whenever they present themselves. When being a leader and servicing other I always remain professional even when the relationship becomes personal.
Initially I use to define professionalism based on the way one dress and talks to strangers of authority. HOwever, as I am being developed by my classes at rosen and my experience in the field, I am beginning to understand that professionalism is beyond just attire and language. IT is in fact a characteristic that can be developed and improved. THere are many components to professionalism and the ones that I currently exercise are showing integrity, respect, loyalty , time management and and serving others.
