I have always believed that the most valuable thing about accomplishing my goals was less what I attained, and much more what I became in the process. And so, as I began my Freshman year at Baylor University I set my sights on expanding my reach by placing myself in new and challenging environments. I also continued to focus on serving and improving the lives of other people. For me, these two goals have always converged in the field of hospitality. At the root of this is the ability to see the needs of others and innovate new ways of caring for them. My mother instilled in me a love of this calling from an early age and thanks to her career, I was introduced to the hospitality industry. This was the beginning of my passion for business.

I had an early appreciation of knowledge and throughout grade school this led me to embracing my extracurricular education, such as ballet, theatre, and eventually pageantry. Apart from the performing arts, I began working my first job at the front desk hotel. This was enabled by the fact that I completed high-school online. While it required time management skills to balance all these things, the lessons I learned were invaluable. I found that the key to success was to connect to the people I was serving and to learn from those who had come before me. Furthermore, I was determined to continue expanding my real-world work experience, so I began working for the luxury Waco hotel, Hotel Indigo.
