To say I am passionate about education and striving for excellence is an understatement; it is something I was born to do. Ever since I was a small child, I have fixated on going to college and perusing a high education. I have already enjoyed accomplishing my childhood and current aspirations by advancing my knowledge and skills in the culinary curriculums by recently earning my Associate in Applied Science degree in Culinary Arts with an emphasis in Chef Training and Management Technology.
Among my other successes in my culinary education I earned my degree with Honors, and excelled in the top of my class with my grades. I have also won the National SkillsUSA Silver medal and the North Dakota SkillsUSA Gold medal in the Post¬ Secondary Culinary …show more content…

I take pride in providing superb customer service and cater to the citizens of this community, and take pride in helping manage. I have obtained my culinary arts degree and soon business management degree to secure employment to support myself financially as well as serve as a financial foundation to assist in my continued pursuit of higher education. I have had countless obstacles to overcome, including a learning disability, and I expect a lot more in the future. But with hard work and determination, one’s dream can and will come true. Due to my financial liabilities I have chosen to work full-time and be a part-time student, which does not qualify me for financial aid and I have no other scholarships pending. Since I desire to continually improve myself and strive for excellence, I yearn to continue my education to earn my bachelor’s degree in business management. But I have been challenged with accumulating debt from loans from my previous education. I will be acquiring even more debt continuing my education at the University of North Dakota from tuition, books, and supplies. With my previous prosperous educational background, I know I can graduate successfully. If I was awarded this generous scholarship, I would be very grateful knowing that this scholarship would aid in assisting me in achieving my educational
