In the year of 2011, I was blessed with a job in the pharmacy as a cashier. As a cashier I learned generic and brand names of medications. I caught on quick when learning the names of the medications and what they are. I also learned a lot from watching the pharmacy technician’s work. Nine months later I was asked to become a pharmacy technician trainee. Ever since then I knew that being a pharmacist is what I’m supposed to do. Every job I’ve had led me to working in the pharmacy, and I want to continue to move up in my career. My first job led me to be a cashier for the store, and after being a cashier for a year I moved to the pharmacy. Everything was pointing towards to becoming a pharmacist. While in the process of obtaining experience, I will enjoy being able to interact with people. I want to take my education as far as I can so I can do the best job possible to take care of my patients/customers. This will give me the opportunity to help people and give them encouragement. I want to get the most education I can, and the pharmacy doctorate’s degree is the best way to do that. I know that working hard for my dream job will be worth it in the end. I’m the first one to go to college in my family which gives me another push to do what’s right for the path I’m taking. Watching my family make mistakes has made me a very motivated and independent person. Education has always come first in my life because I know that this will lead me on the right path.
