Capturing a picture isn’t as easy as it seems. We have to make sure we have the right angles and filters. We want the most beautiful scenery and lighting. It’s all the little things we must adjust to create the perfect image. Life is exactly the same. To find our quality world, we have to ensure that the image we perceive is clear. We all see life through different lens. Sometimes we like pink filters, sometimes the blue filters, and sometimes we like the ones with the black borders around them. My vision of success is having a successful career as a dental hygienist, being happily married with children, living in a big house, having my own car, being true to my values and traveling the world.

Traveling for me is a huge example of fulfilling my dreams. I would love to spend months in a different country and gain a different perspective on life. If I want to hop on airplane and backpack across some countries then I have to begin saving up money. However, I will wait to graduate first and get my certificate in dental hygiene to ensure that I don’t spend my education money. Another thing that falls hand-in-hand with traveling is that I would like to volunteer to help build schools for those who are less fortunate than others, to help victims who have just suffered from a natural disaster, or to just give back to my community. However an obstacle that gets in the way of this is my parents. They do not allow me to travel anywhere without them and they aren’t fond of the idea of me risking my life to help save others. I will just have to wait until I’m on my own to go and help those in need. There’s a possibility though that if I found a way to volunteer throughout the school that they would allow me to go. In this case, I’d have to find organizations that do this. On another note, the things I would like to own would be a beautiful house and a working car. I want a family and some pets.The only thing that could get in the way of this is if I just don't try hard enough. One should be honest, loyal, kind, compassionate, independent, hardworking, adventurous, socially responsible, educated and loving. Even though these are quite a handful, it is highly possible to excel in all of these. I just have to remain optimistic and be true to who I am and who I want to be. If I want to be educated I will go to school. If I want to be independent I will steer away from teacher-directed learning and be an autonomous learner to get get my associate's degree and certification in dental hygiene from El Centro. If I want to be loyal, I will not talk behind anyone's back and always be there for someone. It's as simple as that. I truly want to live by these beliefs and I will stick to them. I just have to start with an academic transition to gain the education I need and find who I really am and everything else will fall into
