iSearch Paper I have so much love for the sport of football it has done so much for me by introducing me to amazing people and has shown me endless possibilities. It gives me an opportunity to help kids and better their home and social life because football teaches character and I want to be around football for as long as possible. Football is big passion of mine and has taught me so much, even how to treat people and how to respond to adversity and now I feel it is my turn to teach the next generation. As I stated earlier, most coaches are also teachers so they will have to try and use whatever free time they do have grading papers and scheduling parent teacher conferences with the families of their students. In order to be a coach that teaches you have to have a bachelor's degree. Most coaches have a degree in kinesiology, exercise and sports science or physical educate After doing all of my research on coaches and the requirements of becoming a high school coach I realized that there is a lot more to it than just X’s and O’s. I talked to real coaches and they told me that it is a very rewarding job that you have to dedicate your life to because most coaches spend more time with their teams than they do with their actual families. In 2013 a coach’s median annual salary was about $29000. The bulk of my information came from asking my coaches first hand however, I also used sources from the internet to add on to what they said. The best information comes from people who are actually in that field and that is why I made sure to ask many questions. The websites that I did use to find were recommended by my coaches as well which made me trust the site even more. I’ve learned so much about what being a coach truly means and even more than that I learned that when you are researching its best to have feedback from people with experience from the field you’re researching. Now that I have this information the biggest question is what do I do with it moving forward. Well, I have realized that coaching is something I am going to pursue. This job is not for everyone only the committed last in this profession because it truly does ask for every bit of your attention but I know it will all be worth the time spent in the
