I have always been interested in the fascinating way that software is presented. Since a young age I was always the first one in my family to be able to fix the glitches on or virus-infected laptop/computer. Computer science links with the two most important subjects to me. I study BTEC computing, therefore have learnt that this is what I want to do and also that it is what I love the most. As for science, it was the highest performing GCSE for me. This suggests that my love for science is without end. For work experience I worked at a retirement home called bishop Creighton house. I worked in the reception where my job was to answer calls or forward it to other employees such as the manager, supervisor etc. Because of this I have gained social skills and improved on my management and planning. At the end of 2016 I had the fantastic experience of going to Emirate Stadium, where I had the chance to look at what universities to go to and also taking pamphlets which explained in depth what the course would be like and the minimum grades needed to be accepted. I also had the experience to stay in a campus university called university of Warwick during the summer, I got the experience to see what lectures would be like in university and also stayed there which would help me in my decision on whether or not i should go to a campus university or go to one near my house. Also this helped with skills such as being organised which would be important for getting equipment and getting ready for lectures.
