Nursing is a great and amazing profession. However, it is not the field that makes it stand out among other professions. The practitioners in the field make it much more appealing. Nursing is a crucial field because it aids in relieving the pressure that some victims of illness may have while in their hospital beds or at home. Doctors may not always have the time to provide all the moral and emotional support that their patients may need. However, nurses are always there to support their patients regardless of whether they are assigned to them or not. This responsibility forms part of our work ethic. However, every nurse has his or her character that makes him or her distinguish him or herself from the rest of her colleagues. I also believe that one should be able to diversify the manner in which they dispense their duties. This skill forms the foundation of any field of work. Throughout my years in nursing school, I have understood the need for excellent communication skills. As a result, I garnered all essentials of the skill, I can now speak clearly, and listen to whatever directions am given keenly. As a result, am capable of anticipating my patients’ needs and advocating for them when presented with an opportunity. Flexibility is another quality that I think a nurse should have if he or she is to produce unprecedented work. By observing doctors and nurses working, I am willing and capable of managing the long working hours given so that I can cater for as many patients as possible. Quick response is another quality I have been able to acquire so that I can respond to emergencies quickly and
