Being a ALA fellowship recipient 2017 is an irreplaceable and great opportunity which could make a milestone in my medical life. As known as one of the highliest ranked medical education system in the Australia, the chance to experience four weeks in that system could benefit for me fundermentals which are required for me to become a good medical student. I always believe they are medical knowledge, foreign language, science research and international cooperation.

Initially, I will have a great opportunity to approach my clinical knowledge, experience and skills up-to-date. Obviously, practicing in one of the most modern healthcare system in Australia, with the clinical placement program, under the guide of the expert supervisors, I will be provided the best opportunity to view the most up-to-date practices in health and medicine in the context of the Australian health system. Inasmuch as 4 weeks is not a long period of time, although, I am always eager to learn, it is necessary to have a list of goals, work 100% of energy and study seriously to optimize my outcomes.

Secondly, I could observe how to approach, communicate properly, work in partnership with patients and do teamwork with colleagues. In clinic, it is very important to approach to patients, it includes taking medical history, …show more content…

As a Vietnamese medical student, it's hard to declare that I could change and develop Vietnam healthcare system now just from a journey for a month, but through this experience, I could conceive where I am in the world, what I need to develop to have my best future. I think if anyone could do the same thing, it subsequently gradually change the health outcomes of Vietnam. Moreover, I could have chance to contact with the Australian, enjoy myself with Australian culture, food and landscape and, of course, share with them about Vietnam, my beloved
