Dear, Mrs.Edwards This year I am enrolled in a class called “ BLAST ‘ , which stands for Building Leadership and Academic Strengths Together. This class will help me identify my personal talents and strengths, while building my math and study skills. I have taken a Gallup assessment called “ Clifton Youth StrengthsExplorer “ , which identified my top three talent themes as Confidence , Caring , and Future Thinker. Confidence What this heading means is that I believe in everything I do. I also can carry my own weight which means I can block out any criticism, opinions, or negativity. I believe in myself and what I can do this helps me by walking through these halls and just focusing on school, myself, and friends. I can shine without a crowd , but at the same time this negativity gets to me , but I have a great support system ( teachers & friends ) I don’t need anybody’s opinion to define me. In my heart , helping others is very important to me , I can give great advice to someone if they’re in need of advice. When I’m in gym everyday I tell the girls good job , because i’ll see all of them trying and doing their best and giving it their all. When they run i’ll stand on the sidelines and say “ Good job ladies , Keep up the good work , push it out ladies “ everytime they’ll run pass me i’ll give them a high-five. One day i’ll like to become a makeup artist , medical assistant , and motivational speaker I love to make people feel good about themselves if any of my friends have issues/problems they know they can come to me and talk about it , they know i’ll give them suggestions on what to do.
