To be successful in both a marketing and social media career, one needs to possess strong social, communication, and creativity skills. My experiences and accomplishments both in and outside of school, have led me to the validated assumption that I possess the necessary skills to be a successful candidate, to intern for Ogilvy & Mather. As a student, I have found myself involved in myriad organizations on the college campus. As a sister of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority, I have learned the working as an organized unit, as well as strengthened my abilities to work as a team player. The position as Relay for Life Event Chairperson has allowed me to cultivate my abilities in fields such as networking, public speaking, entertaining, and managing a group of colleagues, to ensure each duty becomes an accomplishment. Being an indivudal, with leadership roles within both organizations has provided me with the tools, essential for being successful. I have worked as a secretary at a successful tool manufacturing company, a camp counselor for girls age’s four to six, and young women ages eleven to thirteen, and work, currently, as an elementary school teaching assistant. I am a writer and editor for the websites, The Odyssey and Squad Feed. These two platforms allow me to share my ideas and opinions on very popular platforms. Staying up to date on worldwide issues, as well as the latest and greatest media trends, allow my work to be as successful as it has become. Writing for both sites has been a catalyst for imprinting my first mark, on the world beyond college. My work can be seen, published on both websites.
