Over my high school years, I had a determination to get involved in the variety of programs offered at my school and obtain an intellectual knowledge of all the topics and classes that were offered to me. I took advantage of the education that was offered to me by precedingly studying and learning from the material that was offered in order to expand my understanding of these classes. I also got involved in afterschool programs like CyberPatriot in order to expand my technological knowledge to further points such as an understanding of cybersecurity. My academic abilities also got recognized by some organizations in my school such as National Honors Society and National Technical Honors Society which I joined for the purpose of getting even …show more content…
I am inspired to be someone better than the person who I admire by intellectual means. An inspirational quote I stand for, by Albert Einstein is “Once we accept our limits, we go beyond them.” This quote alone helps me to strive through my day to day life whether it be in school or at home, it’s a quote I live by. We strive to go further than the limits we set for ourselves, which is why people are able to become genius’s or writers or presidents, because they set limitations for themselves to overcome and strive from. I faced many obstacles along the way, such as, while working with a team of students, we all had to pull together and coordinate our different ideas and designs in order to create a unique informational website that would be used in a competition. In order to accomplish this task, I had to push myself in order to lead the team and bring together our creative ideas that would all surround this one topic.. By working as a team, we were able to score rank of third place and get recognized by our school for this
