Since elementary school, I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted to make a difference and change the world for the better. Science and math were my favorite subjects, and obsessing over Einstein and Steve Jobs made up the majority of my childhood. From the beginning of middle school, I knew what I wanted to be, a chemical engineer. Taking chemistry in high school sparked my interest in chemical engineering, the basis of nearly all sciences. Knowing how and why substances combine to form other substances, and how they interact with other things drove my interest in chemical engineering to another level. I don’t want to be restricted in anything in my life; I need to be flexible, I never want to be held down by a nine-to-five job, I want to learn new things every day so I can make a difference and not be another sheep in the flock. I want to be enrolled in the Future Leaders Accelerated BS/MBA Program so I can graduate and choose the work I do. My eagerness for engineering and business drove me to pursue very rigorous courses in high school to prove to myself that I could always do better while exceeding all the prejudices put on me by my peers. I believe my ambitious craving for success, has and will always assist me throughout my studies and beyond. In high school, I decide to start giving back to the world so I started with my community. I started by participating in community outreach programs; aiding donation drives for human crises around the world, helping spread awareness of current issues facing the world today, assisting new social outreach programs to combat social issues in the inner-city and aiding in cleanup efforts throughout the area while leading efforts to reduce unnecessary waste. All these things left me with unforgettable experiences that have shaped me to be who I am
