I am interested in M&A society because I of my interest in investment banking and the gears that make the global economic machine function. I want to be able to access the resources that M&A society offers including: speakers and events. M&A society would allow me to collaborate and speaking freely with like-minded individuals; I would network, ask for help, and give help when needed.
Investment Banking is when a company or bank that has capital invests and/or advises a company that has little to no capital in the hopes that the company will someday gain capital.
Investment banking is interesting to me because it covers both helping a company gain capital, and mergers and acquisitions. Each play a substantial part in tracking how some companies can begin as start-ups and eventually turn into multimillion dollar companies. What also interests me is the role many companies and banks can play to turn companies into successful businesses.
I want to understand the risks companies and banks take in help a company gain capital.

I believed that because of my quick reaction time and critical thinking skills that I would be able to be a proficient Nurse. During the spring of my senior year, I research various careers paths and looked to where my skills would be suited best. I discovered that business seemed to be the best career for me because of my love of numbers, money, and long grueling hours. My critical thinking skills would allow me to easily understand different concepts and reaction quickly to changes in the market.
