I first became interested in law when studying A-level law and since learning about the legal sector I have wanted to pursue a legal career. Law fascinates me because I am interested in how it affects every part of our lives and the power it has on body's and individuals.
The area of law which I am particularly interested in is commercial law. I believe a career in commercial law is the best way to understand what our society is about and how it runs in relation to individuals or bodies engaged in commerce, merchandise, trade, and sales.
Working at a TKMaxx for over 2 years has opened my eyes up to the world of making contracts, manufacture, and sales of consumer goods. I have studied contract law in my first year at university which gave me an insight and knowledge into laws regarding the sales of goods, transactions and methods of resolution and legal restitution.
The diversity and scope of commercial law is suited to my own skills set, awareness, knowledge and ambition which has all developed through studying law. A fast-paced lifestyle, challenge and international opportunities in commercial work really appeals to me.
