Throughout all my life, I have always had in interest in STEM, or “science”, “technology”, “engineering”, and “math”. These subjects have affected my daily life in many ways. Science and math were always my highest grades out of all the other academic subjects throughout the school year. Technology and engineering has always intrigued me, since these areas keep expanding and becoming more advanced in our current century. When the STEM Explore Summer Camp came to be, I thought becoming part of this activity would be a great opportunity to become more in depth with my future. If I were to attend a STEM experience this summer, it would affect my educational and future goals in many different ways.

Ever since I was a little kid, I have always aspired to become a person that would greatly impact and benefit others. It was then that I finally decided to become part of the medical field, and more specifically, a Pharmaceutical Scientist. In order to become part of the medical field in this century, being part of the STEM Camp this summer will sharpen my skills to achieve this dream of mine. For instance, being part of the medical field requires technological knowledge to operate machines and equipment in the workplace. Furthermore, It would need science to know the basic functions of the human body and to make medicine. Also, it would need mathematical knowledge to give precise doses and measurements …show more content…

For instance, if I were to attend STEM Explore Summer Camp, I’ll be able to learn new things I’ve never knew before. It is one of my educational goals to learn as much as I can, and take advantage of all the opportunities I can get. Therefore, in order to achieve this goal, I should take the opportunity to attend the STEM Summer Camp. I am sure I will learn many fascinating things at the STEM Summer
