As a student at Watkins Memorial High School I've always had a unique fascination with bacteria, parasites, and viruses. This fascination would give rise to my aspiration to study the field of epidemiology. A degree in epidemiology is a long and extensive major, I intended on starting my path by getting a degree in medical science and in that major where I get to design and conduct studies to investigate human diseases, and methods to prevent and treat them. In time I will require a bachelor's degree in epidemiology, a masters in public health or science, and in addition a PhD in epidemiology.
