My Fuhrer has promoted me to be the commander of the concentration camp in Auschwitz! I am so blessed, it feels like a happiness has entered right through me, no more like God has given me hope. I was just a lieutenant not long ago and now, am a commander it’s a dream come true. I must spread this good news to my family and my fellow soldiers we must have a feast to celebrate my accomplishment. I don’t understand my mother’s ambition for not letting me become a commander, choosing to disobey the Fuhrer or not being proud of my accomplishment? She felt disappointed that I was promoted to commander. She should be proud of her son for making our country a better place. I still don’t get how she would be disappointed? The house seems quite old and gloomy but I think we can manage. I’ll ask Maia to unpack everything, so in the meantime I’m writing this journal to keep updates on our progress. The house is not as big as the one in Berlin, only having 3 storeys instead of 5. Inside of the house is quite nice, and beautiful. There is nothing much at the backyard, and I’m sure that the house is far away from the concentration camp from our house. Safe for a child to be living in. I set up my office, did some work and continued on with my life. The Fuhrer had invited himself to dinner, he wanted to discuss something with me. I needed to prepare for his arrival, there is so much things to be done. Moping the floor, cleaning the window and preparing dinner. Everything was going according to plan. My son & daughter greeted him and took Fuhrer to our dining place. Maria served us our food. No one spoke a word, we only replied when Fuhrer ask a question seeing that it would rude to ask a question while he is eating.
