Why are you interested in this Project Week trip? I am interested in this trip because I want to learn more about other countries and the socio-economic conditions of other countries. By learning more about different places, I would be able to learn how I could help others. As a person from a privileged background, this trip would broaden my perspective and change my thinking in ways that a textbook or school lesson could not. In addition, I love doing service and helping others, but I have not had the opportunity to do so outside of school yet. Describe what will make you a strong contributor to the Cambodia team. Also, describe areas of growth that you would like to focus on in preparation for the trip. I have a good work ethic, and I am very enthusiastic and committed to projects. Also, please share what experience do you have working with young people, teaching, and doing community service? I would be an engaging teacher because I have a fun personality, I am creative, I am interesting, and I am very organized. My experience with young children is limited to my baby cousin, and I meet her every other weekend or so. I have also worked with young children (toddlers) at service day last year, which was very fulfilling, especially because I was able to help the staff put smiles on children’s faces. I will also be volunteering at the Sammamish Arts Fair next weekend as an arts and crafts helper, and I will be working with children
