Re: Letter of Recommendation for Joshua Whiting To The RA Selection Committee: I write on behalf of Joshua Whiting’s application for a Resident Assistant position. I believe Josh to be an exemplary student-scholar as well as a person of tremendous character with significant leadership skills. I met Josh in my first semester of college in our biology class. We were both Biochemistry majors so we got to skip Biology 1 and therefore were both new to this new world of college but already in a group full of sophomores and students who had been in college for multiple semesters. Naturally we gravitated to each other due to this aspect we had in common.
I love meeting new people who share the same interests and passions as I do. It’s hard to explain just how much this program means to me. When I am older I hope to run for Kentucky State 4-H Teen Council President, and can contribute back to this amazing
John 13:12-14— “When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, “Do you understand what I have done to you? You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another 's feet.” Last year as a member of National Junior Honor Society I learned that service is not all about helping people, but giving of your time, treasure, and talent.

Throughout the span of the late fifteenth and seventeenth centuries, many European countries grew increasingly unstable successive to religiously insecurities. As a result to the establishments and the reconstruction of religions, as recorded in the Reformation, tensions to purify individuals accused of heresy and witchcraft intensified. Subsequently, the organization of the brutal inquisitions and executions for alleged witchcraft found its presence in many nations like Spain. European countries were greatly influenced to prosecute individuals implicated as witches by cause of traditional religious ideals, societal- enforced misogyny and desire to maintain social status.
Hi Ms. Spencer, It 's Jasmine! I 'm sorry you haven 't heard from me in so long - life goes by so fast in college and there 's always a new assignment a new due date as soon as you complete something. I 'm currently spending my spring break in Hoonah, Alaska, which is a small community (~1000 people) on an island in Southeast Alaska. Most of the people here are Alaska Natives - part of the Tlingit group, specifically. I am here through North Carolina State University 's Alternative Service Break program, which basically enables students like me to spend our various breaks doing service in places around the state, country (like my team!), or even in other parts in the world.
Before I could stand, I had already be introduced to Disney. This was mostly because my mom loved everything Disney and gave my sisters and me Disney toys and we watched, and still watch, Disney Movies. It was a feeling of excitement and energy of an entire kindergarten class. Then, there are our trips to Disney World, which are filled with excitement and wonder. At Disney World, we go on rides, see shows, and trade for pins, eve though it is normally done by people who live nearby.
Victorian Era Ever thought of your love and desire for tea? In the Victorian Era tea was a distinct aspect in the lives of high, middle, and lower classes of people living in England and still is this day. Tea was always included in meals and midday times, when no meal was present, there were sweet alternatives like caraway cakes, devonshire cream, cookies, and other pastries. (food and cooking in Victorian england) Three different types of tea would be, high tea, afternoon tea, and just tea.
I am a good candidate for the Reisher Scholarship because I am hard working and self motivated. The value of education is something that I have understood since a very young age. This scholarship would help me substantially because my mom is a single parent with two kids in college. With this scholarship money I will be able to become more successful and reach my goals in life. My completing my degree I will be one step closer to becoming a physical therapist and helping improve my clients quality of life.
I have had the unforgettable opportunity to personally raise $1,400 for kids to go to summer camp, whose families could not afford it otherwise. I have worked at food drives, homeless shelters, and kid’s programs in my town, in hopes to make someone’s day a little bit better and ultimately make my community stronger. These experiences shaped who I am today. While I cherish the experience I had making a difference in my own town, I am ready to grow and leave a positive impact somewhere else in the country.
“Life is a drama full of tragedy and comedy. You should learn to enjoy the comic episodes a little more.” The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls has very important life lessons that will teach you to laugh at your tragedies sometimes. The most important lessons are that struggle makes you unique, you either sink or swim, and sometimes crisis makes you realize your potential. In the memoir, you will learn these and accept them.
My Totem Pole A totem pole is a colossal log carved mainly by the indigenous people of Alaska and British Columbia. These poles tell stories that have been passed down from generation to generation as legends and myths. However, that is not the only type of totem pole, there are totems that tell the carver’s history, their family’s history and a few are even used to honor the dead. Additionally, multiple totem poles were made to show respect to important tribal members.
This strategy is when a firm decides to serve two or more exact market segments. Over the last four years, Disney intrigues people of all ages; whether it is a child, teen, or parent. For small children, it has its animation films, toys and other goods from their consumer products division, a segment on their channel called "Playhouse Disney," and many more. For older kids such as tweens and teens, it has the Disney Channel, Radio Disney, their live-action films, and much more. Disney's live-action films such as Pirates of the Caribbean attracts adults as well, in order to target adults Disney uses a "family approach.
We saw Mickey and Minnie, and Donald and Daisy. The day was filled with riding all sorts of fun rides. When it was
I am pursing a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I am passionate about education and excited to share the joy of learning with students. The perspective of wonder and sense of excitement that children bring into education motivates me daily. Teaching can leave a lasting impression in a child’s life and offers a special opportunity to shape the bright young minds of future generations. While many professions can be impactful, I believe the qualities of the person in the career position to be the most influential.
