Personal Theological Perspective Paper When looking at one’s personal theological perspective in this society, one will understand why and how their culture is important to them in their daily life. Truly, every person lives in a society of different culture background. To define what theology of culture is, lecture 3, (2016), stated “It is a process of developing a paradigm of how culture works in the context of understanding God, the church, and the Bible”. In other words, there are different cultures that are preach differently from other cultures when it comes to understanding God, and the Bible and having those standards in place. In this essay, it will provide my personal theological perspective on culture as well as compare and contrast my own perspective to those tactics discussed in class and in the reading of the given examples (Niebuhr, Tillich, Barth, and Tanner.) …show more content…

Truly, when I look at my personal theological perspective on culture, it simplifies who I am today and where my faith in my Christian walk with Christ stands. Yet, I am able to take those same standards and apply it to my daily life as well as lead by example in front of my boys, so they can take those same standards and apply to their daily and share it with others of how they came to know Christ in their time. Most of all, those who has been taught the sound doctrine have gotten away from it and look at it from a different view of their perspective as they perceive what is true and what is not true.
