While I have changed my mind many times about the career I want to go into, I finally have narrowed it down three potential jobs. Since I was young, I have enjoyed learning about technology and staying up to date on the newest gadgets. However, through my career education class, I have discovered a few other options in other fields that could be potential careers for me. I researched three careers including personal trainer, industrial engineer, and my top choice of computer programmer. First, the Multiple Intelligence survey is a test to help you determine your strengths or intelligences. It is a non-cognitive assessment which does not require critical thinking. Again, Kinesthetic intelligence is one of my biggest strengths according to this Inventory. People with kinesthetic intelligence have the ability to control body movements and handle objects successfully. (“Simple”) Some careers that would play to this strength are a personal trainer, a firefighter, or a professional athlete. I agree that this as one of my strengths which is why I decided to research the personal trainer career. Personal trainers instruct clients on different exercises to get their desired level of fitness and shape. Many people normally go to a personal trainer to improve their cardiovascular strength, muscular strength, or physical appearance. This job usually occurs inside gyms or other buildings, but many exercises can also be done outside. For example running or jogging can be more convenient to do outside with the extra space. Almost all major companies that I seek to work at offer good insurance. I obviously have very little control over who my boss and coworkers will be, but this is a problem faced by many people in any career. With the average $80,000 that I hope to earn, raises and bonuses would just be icing on the cake.While I can not know if this career will make me happy without trying it first, I strongly believe that it will because it lines up with my interests and many research methods I have used to explore careers have pointed to computer programmer as a top
