As humans, we struggle through a lot of events. In The Rule of Three it shows many series of events that the people in the story overcome. One thing that the people in the story have to overcome is to survive in there town. In the The Rule of Three it takes place in mississauga and there is a massive problem in the town and the whole world. Our personality is received as soon as life becomes about concerning needs. The rule of three by Eric Walters, Shows the way the people in the Story each choose ways to survive in their neighborhood. The rule of three, Adam, his family and his town are in a crisis with no power, or anything with new technology does not work. Adam demonstrates this transformation by that actions he does throughout the story. Adam starts out from being a shy young teenager to being a power young teenager that has the role to keep people safe in his community. Adam says, “It was only Wednesday that I was typing Todd's essay. Now I'm leaving my neighborhood into war”(Walter 319). Here, Adam is referring to that he used to be a normal innocent child that go to school and help his friend with an essay but now he is a changed teenager that is now a boss for his community. This is showing how Adam is starting to go to war with his community to gain more power and they are fighting to survive. Adam becomes more Hardened teenager as the pilot thickens he carries a gun secretly wherever he goes. Adam says “...no he lay dead on the street I just killed a grown man. His family bawled as blood oozed from his body (Water 246)” As Adam shot this grown man Adam was trying to survive of his life. Adam shows that this crisis has changed and people are always trying to gain as much power and from that you have to survive from others. Adam used to be a shy person, but now he became more of a hardened person. Adam has changed for the better as Adam growns and, overcomes obstacles in the story Adam is only focused on for himself and, his community to survive and be better than anyone
