Personality is defined as the unique, core set of characteristics that influence the way one thinks (Licht, Hull & Ballantyne, 2016). The term personality is a general term that is used loosely by psychologist (Licht, eT.AL, 2016). Psychologist explains the development of personality in a way called theoretical perspectives (Licht, eT.AL, 2016). The theoretical perspectives help explain, describe, and predict behavior (Licht, eT.AL, 2016). There are many different theories within the theoretical perspectives, one including the trait theory. The trait theory looks at the current traits of the individual to describe and predict behavior (Licht, eT.AL, 2016). Another theory is the humanistic theory, this theory believes that we control our destinies and we have a force moving us forward (Licht, eT.AL, 2016). One of the last theories is the social cognitive theory that focuses on social influences and mental processes that affect personality (Licht, eT.AL, 2016). The ink blots made it appear that way because of how the head stick out at the top of the ink blot. In the second ink blot, I see what appears to be a bird shape face and a adnormal body. The body is small up top and gets bigger as you go down towards the feet. The ink blot makes it appear that way because of the way the face, arm, and legs are different than the rest of the body.
