Imagine a child in foster care being passed from home to home, yet never able to settle down and always longing for a place to stay. Or imagine a young woman who finds herself with a child that she’s unable to raise. Of course, one can’t forget the aging couple who longs for a child of their own but is unable to conceive. Adoption is a way to solve all of these problems. There’s no denying that adoption is a complicated process, and like most complicated things it doesn’t always work out. In spite of that, there are a plethora of reasons for someone to adopt. Adoption is a difficult process that doesn’t always succeed, but when it does succeed, it changes the lives of everyone involved for the better.

Adoption can be a difficult process for them. Whether they’re a newborn or an older child, they’ll have to adapt to a new environment and new parents. For the children in foster care waiting to be adopted it’s important to think about what led them there. They may have been abused, neglected, or otherwise mistreated and removed from their parents care (Craft). Alternatively their parents may have passed away and they lacked any close relatives to take them in (Craft). There’s also the possibility that they were born into a household that is unable to support them due to lack of finances or an unforeseen medical problem (Craft). Regardless of why they’re there everyone of those children deserve parents who will treat them right, help them overcome the loss of their family, or provide a stable life for them.
