When your mom wakes you up to go to school, are you still tired and feel the need to sleep more? Well you are completely right and you have the right to want to sleep more. Sleep helps you a lot in school and improves many things. Some of the goods that sleep improves in school is, ACT scores for high schoolers, better attendance, and less student car accidents. I think that sleep is very crucial for kids and teens attending school, and it is a must, therefore I consider school to become later on in the morning.
High schoolers need on the average 7 hours of sleep, some students go to bed around midnight, and never get enough sleep. It also really does depend on when you go to sleep, however, even students going to bed around 9:00 have troubles waking up. The school with the earliest starting time is 5:30 am, this can become something very stressful over periods of time. When students are given enough sleep it advances the grades and test scores for students.

Rush in cars are most common when students are stressed to be tardy for school, leading in abounding car accidents. Results show that teen drivers were twice as likely to have had a crash if they experienced sleepiness while driving or reported having bad sleep.” When high school self drivers are heading off to school with the sleep they need, they are wide awake and aware. If students wake up too early, their brains aren’t awake yet, and a cup of coffee won’t be enough to wake them up.
