My 5 reasons why Americans should learn Spanish is that Spanish is not hard to learn and besides that it’s fun to learn. Many industries are looking are looking for people who speak Spanish and plus half our population speaks Spanish. The United States doesn’t have an official language so there’s no reason not to learn Spanish. Learning Spanish helps you prevent Alzheimer’s disease.
Growing up in a hispanic home is a blessing. Having spanish as my first language then later on, when entering school, came english. Being fluent in both spanish and english comes in handy more times than not. For myself, and for those of my family members that only speak spanish. That is one of my motivations to keep learning spanish and earn the biliteracy seal.
Illegal immigrants evidently have had the ability to leach off of the American government, due to Obamacare. Illegal immigration is without a doubt one of the most attention needing problems the United States faces. The adversity devised from the jobs that illegal immigrants have apprehended from US citizens is formidable. President Trump has promised that he will reform the immigration laws and following his presidential campaign promise, building a large wall that separates Mexico and The United States. Building the wall reassures the population that we are indeed safe, we are a powerful country and there is no free ride in the land of hope and possibility.

A current global issue I consider important has to do with the flow of Latino immigration into the United States. Latino immigration into the United States has increased over the last couple years and researchers state it will continue to increase. Latino immigration occurs for various reasons and it occurs both through documented and undocumented methods. Recently, there has been plenty of headlines addressing the issues of undocumented Latino immigration. However, I believe that these headlines do not always address the entirety of the situation.
Being Hispanic has taught me a whole world of things. It has taught me that the world is not what you expect it to be. Going to a public school and being th minority is completely different than going to a see my cousins where every thing is different. The way we talk, the food we eat. Its all different.
For decades, immigration has been a problem for the United States. Due to the people traveling from their native lands to the United States seeking a better life for themselves, and more primarily for the family that has come with them. Immigration is the action of settling into a country of which one is not native. Despite the many legal immigrants not every immigrant enters the country with legal documents and most of these illegal immigrants are poor and uneducated. Some undocumented immigrants commit crimes such as drug smuggling, or terrorism.
The United States is known to be nation built on immigrants. Undocumented immigrants, also are commonly referred to as illegal immigrants, unauthorized immigrants, or aliens, is a political topic that has been debated for many years. Many people would think that everyone should be given an opportunity for citizenship since this nation was founded by other foreigners. Anti-Immigration supporters believe otherwise and argues that illegal immigrants are ruining our country with terrorism or creating economic inequality by stealing jobs. Whenever undocumented immigrants are the subject of discussion, many naturally presume that Mexicans are being referred to.

There are a lot of controversial issues surrounding this country. Whitin all those controversial issues there 's the “issue” of illegal immigration. I 'm sure we 're all familiar with the term “illegal immigration”. We’re always told about how bad it is. Don 't get me wrong, it is bad but it 's not done with the intention of hurting someone else but to try and change their future.
Today almost no other topic draws an emotional and opinionated response from people like the topic of illegal immigration. You have those that are totally against illegal immigrants being here in any shape or form and then there are those that can sympathize with their plight and think their should be a path for them to establish legal residence. Those against definitely do not want those immigrants to have constitutional right because they are not citizens and believe those rights should only pertain to those of legal status. Immigration opponents believe having these rights granted will encourage an in flux of more seeking a new home here. Illegal Immigrants are a hot button issue and especially during election season when Washington D.C. turns it attention to the issue to gain voters or support for either side.
The United States has stumbled upon an estimated 12.5 million undocumented immigrants as of October 23, 2017 . Some of these people may have migrated in hopes to prosper the American dream and others may be terrified from the troubles of their home country. People migrate illegally to America from overstaying their visa or crossing the border from the south. These undocumented immigrants have broken the immigration laws of America and lack the right to be in the country and therefore shouldn’t be able to live in the country; they have caused several problems through bringing economic problems, skipping the legal process that many wait nearly decades, and they commit cruel crimes against humans. The illegal immigrants that have come to America to “prosper” have caused economic/financial problems to the U.S. and the residents within it.
Illegal Aliens First and foremost , this presidential election will go down as one that had the biggest impact on people of all origins and backgrounds in the United States. Many illegal aliens are in fear of what can possibly happen if immigration laws become more stringent and have a negative impact on their future. Immigration is a topic frequently discussed , especially in presidential elections. It sometimes affects the candidates’ voter’s views on who would really create a solution to this problem and what actions have to be taken. Illegal aliens continue to be a controversial topic in America , starting with how many there really is , where they are coming from and how nations from around the world are dealing with this issue.
There is an issue in our country of illegal immigration, more than 10 million undocumented people currently reside in the U.S illegally. The illegal immigration rate is growing by 700,000 per year. Something has to be done about this, we need to make a law against illegal immigration. We do not know what kind of people are coming into our country if they come in illegally. I would like to create a twenty eighth amendment that will do something more about this.
It has been proven that it is much easier to learn a language when you are younger, but practice makes perfect. In order to do well in the class, I had to study frequently to help understand and remember words, which is normal. I think learning Spanish helped me understand the culture. In class, we learned about holidays they celebrated, such as, Cinco De Mayo and the Day of the Dead. This helped me understand what they valued.
