Cheerleading is a fun, loving and fantastic sport. Although there may be some injuries that can be involved, if you are safe, have spotters and know what you are doing then you can have a very fun season. Some injuries that have been reported that are more frequent than concussions, sprains, or broken arms/legs. Injuries don’t usually happen because everyone is doing safe stunts and tumbling but anything can happen when unexpected. If you are ever trying something new, even if you think you have it, you should always try and get someone to spot you the first time and get their feedback on how you did and see if you could do it yourself. But other than injuries that may happen, cheerleading is a great sport to try out. Teens and college students who are cheerleaders have progressively been getting injured. Spending that much money may have to make you quit the sport you did because you are having your parents spend a lot on your x ray or cast and you won’t have enough for uniforms or pictures. “All concussions are serious, and all athletes with suspected concussions should not return to play until they see a doctor” (Cheerleading, 3). Once you see the doctor and they tell you when you can go back, then you can save up money to do the sport of your choice. Saving up money can be really hard for some families so sometimes you have to take off a couple seasons so your family can save up. To conclude, saving money can be tough but if it means to stop doing a sport for a year or a couple months then it would be okay.
