Nintendo still exists? Why haven’t Nintendo given up yet? You would have thought that the Wii U would be the final nail in the coffin for Nintendo but no, they have managed to resurrect themselves. Nintendo has recently released the Nintendo Switch but is it a Handheld or home console? Good or bad? Will it trump the competition? All of these answers have potential to be correct. The Nintendo Switch is a Hybrid console that can work both at home or away, with its versatility, it's sleek and compact design, and the ‘fun for all ages’ sort of software, the Switch has potential to be better than any of the current and upcoming consoles alike. Eleven to seventeen years ago! Is it no surprise that the savior of home gaming after the crash of ‘83 with Atari’s ET is back again to take back what is rightfully theirs? Nintendo is ready to conquer the market and at the same time unify consoles as they have promised crossplay of certain games with the Xbox One X as well as some PC and mobile games. Nintendo has always considered themselves as a ‘family’ and they do not see Microsoft and Sony as rivals but more descendants from Nintendo, new branches of their family that is growing constantly, and that’s what Nintendo’s target market is all about, never does it follow the rest to focus on the teenagers who just want to ‘360 no-scope’ others constantly, instead focusing on the aspect of family, as Nintendo is like LEGO, there is no age limit. The Switch even more so as you can play with it all sorts of ways that are yet to be thought of. The Switch is out now, and I love it, love it, love it.
