Driving while talking on your personal cellular devices is dangerous, and it should be illegal in all states. In some states it is already against the law, however in those that it is not, you take your life in your hands. Distracted driving in all cases is dangerous. In this paper we will look at all of the pros and cons to using cell phones to talk or text while driving. Distracted driving may cause an accident or, in some states, if you are seen on your devices by police officers, it can result in big fines or potential jail time.

You could send a quick text while you are at a stoplight and not get all hung up on the phone and can focus more on your driving another example would be, when you first start a friendship, you often start texting because it feels more comfortable and get to know one another more and it's not so awkward
