Many people have gone to the zoo and have learned many things. That is one of the many positive sides to zoo’s. First and foremost, animals are much safer in zoos because if they were in the wild their predator would hunt them down and kill them. These animals can go endangered or extinct. Although they sometimes do not work, breeding programs can help repopulate. Doris Lin {An animals rights expert} states that, “Many zoos also have breeding programs for endangered species. In the wild, these individuals might have trouble finding mates or breeding in the wild.” On the other hand not all breeding programs work. My second reason is if an animal is extremely hurt, they can try to heal themselves, but they almost always end up dying. Additionally, if the animal was extremely hurt, then the veterinarians at the zoo can try to rehabilitate the animal to full health. My first reason is, animals won't be hunted down by poachers. In the zoo, they make sure they're safe and sound. Additionally, the zoos put barriers to separate the animals and spectators to avoid conflict between the animals so the animals won't attack each other. Furthermore, the barriers are hidden so the animals can't see the barriers around them. But as a matter a fact, the animals might feel better about hidden glass barriers than hot wire barriers.
