As the evolution of science has increased immensely over the past couple centuries, labs have resorted to testing cosmetic, hygiene, and medical products on helpless animals.
It is ridiculous to test human intended products on animals because animals have a different genetic make-up resulting in corrupt results, it is unfair to torture animals for products they don’t even need, and scientists are keeping them captive when they are supposed to be wild. Just because animals cannot speak out on how they feel, it is clear that no human would want to be trapped in a cage and used as a test dummy, so I don’t know why any animal would. 1- Scientists have increasingly produced products useful for billions of different things. The problem is, before they can send it out to shelves it has to be proven safe and accurate in the areas of targeted use. Many times, there is no evidence that the product works, so they feel obligated to test on animals instead of humans due to the harmful effects that could be a result if something goes wrong. How the product affects the animal is not necessarily the same way it will affect humans. It is proven that animals have different types of hair, skin, and nails, so there is no possibility that the results could

These environments are not healthy for the wildlife being held in the cages. The lack of freedom for the animals can cause stress. The stress of the animals can interfere with the test results. This going back into the inaccuracy of the test results of the animals because of the different kind of cells and skin they have. The stress of being in overly small cages continues to make the tests inaccurate. There is also no possibility that the test subjects could be healthy because of the lack of room in the small space. Movement is limited in the pens. Scientists claim this is because they need to monitor the subjects and the reactions they have towards the
