There are just few things that both people and companies want and that is to make money. Companies want to make a profit to survive and become stronger and grow. Then you have people or employees they just want to make money to provide for their families. The nations minimum wage right now is low and many people struggle to provide for their families, and then the companies they work for are getting richer and so are their leadership, but the employees are still low or at a minimum pay rate. Which side will win, many states and politicians want the higher minimum wage. I live and work in Ohio the minimum wage is under eight dollars and many of those jobs and companies do not offer a forty hour a week schedule. Not to sure even if you work forty hours a week how much better you will become. I do believe that a higher minimum wage will help to a point. A increase in the minimum wage could help in many other ways, people could afford to spend more to help out their community. Plus depending on the person they could go back to school and try to get even more increase in their wages and incomes. A higher minimum wages will help, but do certain jobs deserve to have the higher wage compared to other certain jobs. There are many people who feelm that they have a degree and a certain type of jibs people do are more important than those who want to have higher minimum wage. Most people who feel that they deserve a higher wage are those who work in fast food or an entry level position. The job anyone could do and this maybe the problem. A higher minimum wage is important and necessary. Most companies will hold back on all expenses or costs. There are many large companies should pay a higher minimum wagebut then you have the small companies that families start should they have to pay the increase in wages, this is where I say no. Depending on your size and what type of profit, plus how many people and then you should have to pay a tier increase so you are paying employees what they maybe
