Bam! Pow! The boxer hits the punching bag over and over while practicing various combinations. He is training for his upcoming fight by working on his stamina, strength, and speed. Boxing is a very intense sport that requires a lot of practice and dedication. Many other sports require the athlete to be strong and fast such as basketball, soccer, and football. However, boxing requires the most athleticism out of all sports because it requires strength, power, and endurance, it demands an intense regimen, and it is more dependent on your own ability.
To be a successful and powerful boxer, you have to be strong and have good stamina. In boxing your objective is to damage your opponent. To do this the boxer has to throw powerful blows that will hopefully knock out the opponent. Because of this boxers have to train for multiple weeks before a fight in order to build up their strength and stamina. On the other side, boxers also have to be able to take many devastating blows while fighting. Therefore pain tolerance and endurance are necessary while boxing.
