Do you believe that we landed on the moon? There are some people that still believe, even 45 years later, that we never landed on the moon. The Thomas theorem and the social construction of reality play their parts in the way people think what is real and how they make it become a part of their reality. There is always some type of an agreement within any argument but how it is perceived depends on the person themselves. Social construction of reality allows others to shape their own reality of something and how they influence it. The only people that really know what happened is NASA and the astronauts that landed on the moon; with technology just coming into play, who knows if they influenced it by editing it or a green screen. But how could they make it up when so many people were watching it on their televisions? It would take someone or people who are really skilled in editing such a big event as this. The Thomas Theorem is defined as situation consequences being as real as they are perceived to be. When the astronauts came back from the moon and went on the TV, they described what they say, played the part of what happened on the moon, and so that allowed others to believe what they were seeing.
