Marijuana is a substance that makes people feel good or better. However, it is not as innocent as it sounds. While humans and even animals may benefit from proportionate use of it , on the contrary excessive use can have pernicious effects on humans at social , emotional and physical level. Some people have a incline to make it legal because of it merits, on the other hand others oppose this idea. I am of opinion that marijuana should be illegal. There are several reasons for why I believe this, as I will explore in the following essay.
To begin with, making marijuana legal means that you allow people all range of ages use easily. Some people may argue that making it legal does not necessarily mean children will access to it and we can restrict its use based on age. However, as in the example of alcohol or cigarette use , it is not always to control it. People who begin to use it out of curiosity may become addictive to it without noticing. Intrinsically all addictive substances make addicted people consume more and more each time to reach the same feeling of europium. Increased use of marijuana does not bring only the joy but also virulent effects/consequences on human body/user. Scientific research prove that marijuana use harms brain cells and veins while debilitating defense system. Therefore people who are addicted and use it heavily for long time are vulnerable to serious diseases and often end up become terminally sick if they are not treated. Moreover,these health problems have negative consequences on user social life and the whole community. Individuals who become addictive shows anti-social behaviors and they lose their rationality or common sense. These behaviors may cause them become redundant in their jobs if they have any
