The people trying to get into their lockers take up a lot of space and the doors swing open into the narrow hallway, knocking students off their feet on numerous occasions. We have also tried to attach wheels to students but some students did not have the coordination to roll around on wheels around the school. Our last resort was to establish the hallways as moving ramps but that also failed to work as technology is not always the most reliable thing and students were constantly trying to break the newly installed
On the issue of banning books, it seems that the parents know the right things and others do not. In reality every book read in a high school, a parent is always going to state why the child should not read such and such a book. It 's simply opinionated. I believe that if a book has some good moral or is taught in a manner that projects good morality then it should be allowed to be part of the school 's
When many people are behind that thought it may be difficult to change their minds into having weapons inside a school. The schools can be prepared, but there is always someone that is going to outsmart their system or know the system then they would win. If plans were based off of the layout of schools it will be harder for people to outsmart the system (Cummings). Making new plans at schools will take way too long to complete and it will create a weakness in the schools. Even though making a new plan may take a long time it is the best option to prevent school

You reach for a baseball bat but by the time you reach it the man has pointed a Glock-18 semi-automatic handgun at you. You have no chance at all so you surrender and your house is robbed of all its valuable possessions.

Following the aftermath of the Parkland school-shooting in Florida , many advocates, including high school students, are pushing people nationwide to participate in a ‘walkout’. Now what is a school walkout? A school walkout is a chance for students to protest gun violence for seventeen minutes by leaving their classrooms. This would include students using signs and chants to stand against gun violence, as well as to push reform on gun laws. I believe the idea of K-12 students participating in this walkout is inappropriate.
Why Students Shouldn’t Have Homework There are around 365 days in a year, and in a school year, there are around 180 days. Coming home after a long day of school, then having responsibilities to do at home, not to mention some students have after school activities which take up around 2 hours if not more. Phones, are one of the most addictive things in our lives. We carry them with us everywhere. But, for 6 to 7 hours we need to put the phone down for a power nap. These many hours are spent and school where we sit through classes, dazing out the window. Then a bell rings and it is a lock down and it is not a drill.
