Even the smallest things like the warm sun on your face or the wind blowing through your hair, contribute to the wonders of life. Life is a fundamental right and everyone deserves to experience life. No human should have that right taken away from them. Abortion is murder; therefore, it should be illegal. The killing of an innocent human being is cruel and there are many other options than killing a child. Abortion causes more problems than it solves.

The Scandinavian Journal of Public Health found that “Young adult women who undergo... abortion may be at increased risk for subsequent depression” A 2005 five study for the BMC medicine found that women who undergo abortion test higher anxiety scores then those who don't (procon.org). According to the Ramah International, abortion can cause PTSD (post- traumatic stress disorder). Guilt, anxiety attacks, feeling “numb”, depression plus more all come from PTSD. “A mother's heart is genetically designed to protect their child at all costs, and abortion can short-circuit that basic human instinct” (ramahinternational.org). After the procedure, a common side effect is that women “feel numb” afterwards. To avoid traumatic thoughts, many women work to turn off their emotions. Meaning that they shut themselves out from friends and family, especially the people involved in the abortion experience. When a person shuts down emotionally, they do not feel joy or sadness. People who suffer from this usually turn to drugs and alcohol to “numb the experience”
