One might ask, “Don’t they have laws for that?”; the answer is yes, but these laws are not made for certain situations. Animal racers, circuses, and even movie producers abuse animals and are not prosecuted for it. Some may not share my opinion, but I believe every animal abuser should be put to justice, no matter what the situation.
Tell me this; do you beat your friends if they weren’t good enough to win a competition? Well, aren’t animals your friends? Then why do you bet on these tortured animals to see which looks the best, listens the best, and runs the best. It’s not even who trains the best anymore, …show more content…

When a primatologist went undercover in Hollywood, she said she saw a lot of physical violence. She claimed to see fighting and even hitting with a sawed-off broom stick. They did this just so the chimps would stay in line with the trainers (Animal Actors…). You might think, “maybe it was just these people?”, but there are dozens of cases from all over Hollywood about animal abuse. A new movie named “A Dog’s Purpose” was looked in to after a video was released showing the dog being practically drowned for a river scene. The dog can be seen at the beginning of the video trying to escape from the trainer; once the dog gets in the “rushing river” set, he is tossed and turned by each wave. Towards the end of the video, the dog submerges under the water, and many of the trainers start to panic and swim towards the dog (Animal Abuse on…). This video has been labeled many times as animal abuse, yet no legal actions were taken. As recommended by PETA, many boycotted the film, bringing the estimated money earned by 20% down (‘A Dog’s Purpose’…). All of this abuse just for a mediocre
