According to Google, an animal shelter is: an association where stray, abandoned or surrendered animals, mostly dogs along with cats, and at times sick wildlife is maintained and rehabilitated. In other words, another definition of an animal shelter is an establishment that temporarily provides a home until the animal is adoptable. In spite of, this definition is more in line with no kill animal shelters. According to the Best Friends website, no kill animal shelters are where the animals don’t get killed furthermore, ending animal homelessness in America. These poor animals are doomed to suffer every day, from loss of health, food, water, the disadvantage of medical help, or worse death.
