Should animals be tested on ? Today there are problems occurring whether it could be people dying, no cure, need more supplies of something. Testing animals is an necessity, people will think of it as brutally killing and or using the animals. But that’s not really the case, testing animals is just testing products on a rat, which is then being helpful to people all around the world. For an example the California Biomedical Research Association states ” that nearly every medical breakthrough in the last 100 years has resulted directly from research using animals.” Now testing animals doesn't mean they are just killing the animals for fun they are working hard on animals to find out many cures to help people all around the world. Another example would be that there are vaccines that are being created /made by people and to make sure it’s safe they have to test it on something .Now here is where the animal testing taking place , without the lab animals there won’t be any cures and many people would start getting sick and may likely be dead . “The polio vaccine, tested on animals, reduced the global occurrence of the disease from 350,000 cases in 1988 to 223 cases in 2012.
