Because boxing is such a dangerous sport and can inflicted life threatening injuries, people believe boxing should be banned. But since boxing teaches the fighters discipline and can also draw the fighters from temptation, boxing has many advantages. If they were to banned boxing people that have their minds set on fighting will find a way to fight. Boxing is like any other sport, the only major difference is the protective gear. Football is a sport where men run into each other at full speed. and the players can also get injured just as bad as a fighter or worse, during a boxing match the fighters enter the ring and hit each other with boxing gloves for ten minutes. For some of the fighters, boxing is about money but for others boxing is a way to escape from life, a time to clear their minds. When a fighter steps in the ring, they are only focused on the skills they have trained for. For a fighter to have the right mindset the must be confident and to be confident one has to have faith in oneself. Every time a fighter steps in the ring there is a possibility of death but there is also a possibility of death every time someone gets into a car. The fighters are informed of the risk of boxing before they begin their training. During each match there is a referee, the referee examines each fighter before each match. They examine the fighter’s gloves, protective cup, and mouthpieces, each fighter is required to have two mouthpiece at the beginning of each match. Referees are the only authorized personnel that can determine the injuries of the fighters and determine if there was a foul during the fight.
