It is a huge confidentiality that some people believe that girls shouldn't be allowed to play boys sports. The reason that this is, is because the girls will just get hurt because they are not strong enough. I believe that girls should be able to play boy sports because it gives them more opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities and be more active instead of staying on the couch. It also gives kids the ability to learn how to work as a team to achieve their goals.

Nowadays women can hold office, vote, play sports and do almost everything that a man can do. Women should have the ability to participate on boys teams to help them stay healthy and prove that they are just as valuable as men are. According to the Sex Discrimination Law, “if a woman has a disadvantage to the average man in any sport or activity it is unlawful.” As the Law of 1972 states, “Girls should have the same opportunities as men.”
I think that girls that play boys sports learn how to become tough and resilient and boys can learn from the girls how to be agile and flexible. Girls might not be as strong as boys to start with, but if they are willing to work hard they can be just as strong as boys. Girls playing on boys sports teams shows me that they are willing to work hard and strive for what they believe in. They won’t let fear get in their way of trying to obtain what they want. Even if the sport is too risky for a girl to play, I believe that there should be a girls league of the same sport with the same rules as the boys
