Having to wake up every morning and deal with a battle no one knows someone is dealing with is frustrating. Having to put a fake smile on their face just to be able to deal with the constant pressure of society and family such as parents having high expectations from their child or the individual has to act a certain way because that’s how society want them to be for example a girl has to have a thin body to be considered beautiful. Trying to reach up to one’s expectations such as these and failing, can cause the individual to feel like a failure. Which can lead to the constant feelings of not being good enough, that no one cares about them. All of those feelings and actions, can lead to the tragic event of suicide. If society comes together as a whole, the college student suicide rates will slowly but surely decrease. Those who don’t feel remorse towards self-annihilation should also be educated. It’s not right to label someone who is struggling enough as it is, mentally ill. Life is precious, and every individual should live without the constant thought of death.
