Should people who are driving drunk lose their license for a year? Yes, Imagine getting a phone call during the night that your child died in a car accident due to being intoxicated, or they killed somebody because they were under the influence. The amount of guilt, regret, and depressed emotions they would be feeling would literally consume them. There is also a law that strictly states not to do it.
