CAUTION! The Ebola virus is out and looking for new people to attack. The only way to get this deadly virus is through close contact with the bodily fluids of an infected person. There has only been three confirmed cases of Ebola in the United States. Since the outbreak of Ebola have not been as big as it has in other countries we should not have extreme measures. Therefore, caution should be taken when implying within reason quarantines and travel bands. “Quarantine is an extreme measure taken to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.” (jstor.”origin”) A quarantine is a period of 21 days in complete isolation. Meaning there is no contact with anyone or anything. Travel bands are used to limit the people going to Guinea and Liberia, which have been hit the hardest by ebola. Also limiting the people coming back from those countries. Causing fear that people will not be able to come back in the the United States.
