The Electoral college is a system that elects a president when that person reaches 270 out of 538 points the person with 270 points wins the presidency in the US. The Electoral college has been around for years and has run with very little problems, recently the Electoral college has not been in favor of the majority vote. This problem has occurred and is a big topic that lots of people talking about changing the way the Electoral College works and how it might be useful to change. Electoral College should not be used because it is not the best way to support everyone’s vote. Not having the Electoral College would mean it doesn't depend on where you live, it would depend on the individual's vote. When the Electoral College does not pick the popular vote it stirs up an upral in the political world. Voters feel as their vote didn't matter and that's why some people in the USA they are not even voting. When the candidates get a state and the state is big it can put an candidates points higher. The Electoral College has now twice been talked about in a negative way in the past 12 years the most recent being President Donald Trump, and the latest one being President George W. Bush. This president won the non majority vote and caused America to become very frustrated. With this being said about two out of three recent elections have been a disappointment for the majority of people who voted for the other candidate. There needs to be a change because the Electoral College is not working to pick the person that american people want. This is only a small reason why the Electoral College needs to change and why it should not be used as it does not support every Americans vote as
