In now days, many people were start to buy electric cars instead of petroleum based cars. However, because of the not-well-developed technologies, many tragedy happened. These alternative fuels may not be less damadging than petroleum, it may just be that that have npt been around long enough for their full consequences to be appreciated. Even it costs less pollution than petroleum cars, the environmental impact of powering vehicles will not disappeared. US government should not ban the petroleum based cars, because it is unnecessary, costly, and conflicts on storing extra energy for daily use.
