There are over four million jobs available in the United States. Almost every American at the age of eighteen has started looking for a job or already has one. A career is an occupation undertaken for a significant period of a person’s life and with opportunities for progress. It can range from being a manager at a fast food restaurant to a Data Scientist. The choices are endless. Most young adults struggle to choose what career they want to have for the rest of their life and some change their career after a little while. With every career there is always someone who has the knowledge and experience to teach others what needs to be done and how to do it. “Teachers have reasonable hours” (Benefits). A teaching career leaves more time for family, friends and other interest. They only work for about eight hours and sometimes less. Teachers also don’t need an after school babysitter because most schools allow for their children to be dropped off at the school to be in the class with the teachers so they don’t have to worry or go out of their way to get their children (Benefits).
