Statement of intent
I am going to write a piece based on my opinion that factory farming of animals in the world is a growing problem. The purpose of this writing is to show awareness that there are still thousands of places in the world that take part in the heinous agricultural act for profit. My target audience is mainly young people that will shape the next generation. I have chosen to write about this opinion because i feel that all animals that are being used for food deserve to live happy and roam free. I will refer to stats and sources as well as my general knowledge.

Think about it, as you are sitting reading this right now millions of animals are suffering from being cramped and confined in disease ridden warehouses waiting for their inevitable slaughter to provide you with cheap fast food and processed meat. Tyson is a company in the United States that specializes in factory farming animals for other companies. Subway, Burger King, Starbucks and McDonalds along with many more companies rely on Tyson to supply these companies with the meat that fills their processed, soulless junk food that we consume without question. The harsh reality is that the company Tyson puts these animals like cows, chickens and pigs in such unfavorable conditions that it makes the modern poverty issue look like a joke, even though that is still a glaring issue in today's society. Today’s society has either just accepted this fact or just ignored it, it is not good enough for us to just talk about this issue, it is about time people took action against this.
